BTS’ Jimin reveals why he cried while performing at Allianz Parque in São Paulo

BTS’ Jimin has finally revealed why he cried on stage while performing at the Allianz Parque in São Paulo day 1. The singer himself offered an explanation the next night at the BTS’ second São Paulo show, which is simply heartwarming!

The Boy with Luv singers brought their Love Yourself: Speak Yourself Tour to the Allianz Parque in São Paulo on 25 May, performing hits from their latest album Map Of The Soul: Persona. The performance touched millions of hearts.

But it was the track, ‘The Truth Untold’, that really touched Jimin who became too overwhelmed with emotion and could not help crying.

It left BTS Army worldwide wondering why Jimin cried while performing BTS sensational song.

According to the fans translation available, Jimin offered an explanation at the next night at BTS’ second São Paulo show, saying:

There’s something I want to make sure to tell you. To be honest, until yesterday, my body wasn’t so well. But even so, I was ok, I thought that way because I’m able to do the things I want to do.

But yesterday, the reason I cried and stuff is, you all sang together with us right? It moved my heart so much and it was such a great gift.

Thank you so much. And even if today passes, the way you moved my heart and everything – I will never forget this. I’m really all better now! I really love you lots, everyone. Thank you!

It’s a kind of ritual, towards the end of all their concerts, each of the BTS members takes the time to share his thoughts and feelings with fans during what fans call their “ending meant.”

During their last show, the BTS performed “Mikrokosmos” which turned out to be another tearjerker because it was the group’s final song on their set list. Yet again, during “Mikrokosmos”, Jimin got emotional and so did Jungkook.

The final song of the night was a sort of goodbye between BTS and their ARMY, an emotional one.

On their next stop of the world tour, BTS will be arriving in the UK this week ahead of their shows at London’s Wembley Stadium on 1 and 2 June.
