Cable operators suspend TV, internet services across 5 cities in Sindh, in protest against KE

Pakistan Cable Operators Association Chairman continue their strike against K-Electric (KE) by suspending cable television and internet services in five cities across Sindh in protest against KE, terming it as the power utility’s “stubborn attitude”.
Internet and TV cable service will remain suspended for three hours from 7 pm to 10 pm in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Nawabshah, and Larkana.
Pakistan Cable Operators Association Chairman Khalid Arain said on Tuesday that the cable and internet operators will continue their strike against K-Electric (KE) by suspending cable television and internet services.

He further added that Karachi was a sprawling metropolis and cable and internet operators needed time and at least three years to shift their systems.
“We need time and KE is not giving us time,” he said, adding that the suspension of services was continuing due to the power utility’s “stubborn attitude”.
Many of the internet users in Karachi have reportedly received message from the service providers informing that internet services will remain suspended tonight from 7 to 10 PM under protest to the cutting of cables of internet and TV operators by K- Electric.
