Cardiac Pediatric Team of National Institute of Cardio Vascular Disease perform miracle surgery

A team of cardiac Pediatric has performed a miracle surgery on Monday, on a boy who was brought to the National Institute of Cardio-Vascular Disease, Karachi.
The child had a penetrating chest injury, as a screwdriver got thrust in the chest near to his heart. The boy was admitted to the hospital on Sunday.
As being reported, the minor patient is recovering after the major surgery while he is intubated and will be discharged soon.
Reportedly, the boy name Arsalan with penetrating chest injury was refused from different hospitals due to critical condition and holiday. He was later referred to the NICVD Paeds Cardiology emergency.
NICVD’s Paeds Cardiac Surgeon and Anesthesia Consultants rushed to the hospital immediately irrespective of holiday.
Teams’ timely effort has managed to save the child’s life.
