Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain on Monday said that the arrest of Muhammad Safdar by Sindh Police truly reflects respect for the law.
Reacting to the development, the federal minister took to social media saying that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s mausoleum is not a play area for mean-spirited political leadership rather it is a sacred place for every Pakistani.
“Chanting of slogans and frivolous behavior at Quaid’s mausoleum is against the law and punishable”, he added.
However, Captain (R) Safdar was released a few hours after the brief episode of being in Sindh Police custody on Monday.
