PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain dismissed from party presidency
The development comes a week after Shujaat Hussain removed Moonis Elahi as the parliamentary leader in the National Assembly and appointed Cheema in his place.

MNA Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain, the younger brother of PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, has been named the new party president.
PML-Q) General Council removed Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain as party president following a meeting of the general council was held in Lahore and it was attended by party leaders, and lawmakers from Punjab, Balochistan, Sindh, Balochistan and Azad Kashmir.
In a major reshuffle, Kamal Ali Agha has been appointed as central secretary general while Tariq Bashir Cheema has also been removed from the post.
