Chicken meat rates skyrocketed in Karachi and other cities

Prices of chicken meat have skyrocketed in different cities including Karachi.

In Karachi, the price of chicken meat has gone up from Rs 350 to Rs 440 per kg in three days.

While the price of alive chicken has also gone up by Rs 30 per kg.

In Quetta, the price of chicken has gone up from Rs 350 to Rs 380 per kg.

While the price of alive chicken has also gone up from Rs 250 to Rs 290 per kg in Quetta.
 
Vendors say they are getting more expensive chicken from the farms.
 
According to sources, poultry is supplied from Punjab to Quetta and adjoining areas. The prices have gone up from the main suppliers.
 
If this situation continues, the prices of poultry meat are likely to go up further.
