China Advises Caution for Citizens in Pakistan and India Amid Rising Military Tensions

China has advised its citizens in Pakistan and India to exercise heightened caution amid escalating military tensions between the two countries, which have seen the worst fighting in nearly 30 years.

The Chinese embassies in both nations issued statements urging nationals to closely monitor the situation and enhance their personal security measures due to ongoing hostilities following India’s recent strikes on multiple sites in Pakistan, which it claimed were “terrorist camps” in retaliation for a deadly attack on Hindu tourists in IIOJK, Pehalgam last month.

Additionally, the Chinese embassy in Nepal warned its citizens to avoid areas near the Nepal-India border, highlighting that Nepal and India share an open border.

It cautioned Chinese nationals against inadvertently crossing into India without a valid visa, noting that both India and Nepal have increased security measures along their border amid the heightened tensions.

The diplomatic missions emphasized vigilance and precaution as the situation remains fluid with ongoing clashes and military escalations.
