CM Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan tests positive for COVID-19

Jam Kamal Khan, Chief Minister of Balochistan and President of Balochistan Awami Party, has tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.

“My Covid Test has come positive,” he shared the update in a tweet, without giving any further details.

CM Balochistan is the latest high-profile politician to have contracted coronavirus as the country starts imposing lockdowns in COVID-19 hotspots.

According to official statistics, Balochistan has so far recorded 15,541 coronavirus cases, 146 deaths, and 15,220 recoveries from the pandemic.
