COAS Gen Asim Munir Celebrates Eid with Troops on Western Border, Praises Their Dedication

Upon his arrival, he was received by the Corps Commander, Peshawar.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with troops stationed on Pakistan’s western border.

On Monday, COAS visited Wana in South Waziristan and Chehkan in Dera Ismail Khan. He offered Eid prayers alongside the troops and prayed for the country’s stability and prosperity.

During his interactions, General Munir extended warm Eid greetings and commended the troops for their unwavering dedication and service to the nation. He emphasized that their commitment not only secures the homeland but also reflects their profound love for Pakistan.

The COAS also appreciated the efforts of the Armed Forces, law enforcement agencies, and the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in combating terrorism. He attributed their successes to the sacrifices of martyrs and those committed to peace and stability.
