Coronavirus in Pakistan: Domestic flight operations across country to be suspended till April 2

Domestic flight operations across Pakistan, except cargo and special flights, will be suspended till April 2.

The decision was taken by the government as part of its ongoing strategy to curb the spread of coronavirus.

According to a statement shared on the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority’s website, the government has “decided to suspend all types of domestic scheduled/non-scheduled, chartered and private aircraft passenger flight operations with effect from Thursday, March 26, at 6:00 am up to April 02, 2020.”

Earlier, Karachi and Sukkur airports were closed for domestic flights from March 24 till April 4.
