Punjab reports 18 new coronavirus cases as provincial tally surges to 1,087
Punjab has confirmed 18 new cases of coronavirus, taking the provincial tally to 1,087, reports Punjab’s Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department.
According to the department, COVID-19 cases have been reported from 26 districts of the province so far. While, Lahore has the highest number of cases — 210.
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Pakistan have risen to 2,709 on Saturday after more cases were reported in Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Earlier, CM Punjab took to social media to share updates from Punjab.
We have 1,069 confirmed #COVID19 cases in the province.
563 cases are in quarantines while non-quarantined patients are 506. One of the patients is critical while 6 have recovered so far.
