Pakistan has sealed Wagah Border with India in a pre-emptive measure to halt the coronavirus’ spread in the country.
According to the details, the border will be closed for 14 days as per the notification issued by the interior ministry on Thursday.
The notification from the interior ministry said that the “border closure is in the interest of both Pakistan and India”.
The move came after the confirmed coronavirus cases tally hit 384 in Pakistan.
The first two deaths in the country reported on Wednesday— both the cases were from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
One of the victim was a 50-year-old man from Mardan who had recently returned from Umrah while the second one was a resident of Hangu.
