Covid vaccination certificate has been declared a must for domestic air travel from August 1.

The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Saturday declared the Covid-19 vaccination certificate mandatory for domestic air travel.

NCOC has urged the masses to get vaccinated by July 31 in order to avoid inconvenience.

A vaccination certificate will be required to travel by air domestically from Aug 1, it said.

If your vaccination process has been completed you can get your COVID Immunization Certificate nims.nadra.gov.pk or from NADRA Mega Centres.
 
Citizens should also ensure vaccination staff enters details in NIMS when getting the vaccine.

Meanwhile, 180,279 Covid-19 vaccines were administered across Pakistan on July 22, according to NCOC.

A day ago, Pakistan has surpassed the grim milestone of one million coronavirus cases. 

Region-wise breakdown of cases and deaths reported till July 23:

  • Sindh: 362,182 cases, 5,785 deaths
  • Punjab: 351,707 cases, 10,909 deaths
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 141,359 cases, 4,405 deaths
  • Islamabad: 85,230 cases, 789 deaths
  • Balochistan: 29,357 cases, 321 deaths
  • Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 22,592 cases, 608 deaths
  • Gilgit-Baltistan: 7,607 cases, 122 deaths
