#JusticeForNimirta: Death of BDS final-year student in Larkana sparks outrage

Nimrita, a BDS final-year student at Bibi Aseefa Dental College (BADC) was found dead in her hostel room in mysterious circumstances on Monday.
It was presumed that the student committed suicide and the news of her tragic death has sparked severe outrage over social media.

According to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University (SMBBMU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Aneela Attaur Rehman, the student named Nimirta Amarta Maher Chandani, was found dead in her room, which was locked.
She further added that the mobile phone and other belongings of the deceased student along with other evidence were taken into custody by police for forensic analysis. The actual cause of her death is yet to be determined.
Furthermore, CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah has taken the notice of the incident has ordered secretary universities and the board to furnish details of the incident, assuring that every possible hep will be provided to the girl’s family.
The social media users are demanding an impartial inquiry into the incident and have launched an online campaign #JusticeForNimrita.
