DJ Butt released on bail in Lahore
DJ Butt has been released on bail in Lahore on Thursday.
The court approved his bail subject to the submission of surety bonds worth Rs50,000. He was presented before the court of Lahore Civil Judge Qamar Zaman.
Known for providing music and sound systems at political rallies, DJ Butt was arrested on Wednesday from Lahore’s Model Town Bank Square.
While DJ Butt’s partner DJ Malik Sound System also arrested for violating Punjab Sound Systems (Regulations) Act case.
According to the news sources, DJ Butt was arrested on the charges of possessing an illegal weapon and interfering in government affairs.
The FIR stated that the suspects had gathered over 600 people during a pandemic and blocked traffic in multiple parts of the city.
DJ Butt who was responsible for the arrangements of PTI jalsas before it came into power and was also arrested by the sitting government of PMLN back in those days.
And this time, DJ Butt has been hired by the organizers of the Pakistan Democratic Movement {PDM) for the sound system at the Lahore rally. The rally is scheduled for December 13.
In a statement to a news channel, DJ Butt said he is laborer and has nothing to do with politics and he will fix his sound system if ordered for December 13.
