Doctor Passes Away Fighting Coronavirus in Karachi

Dr. Abdul Qadir Soomro on Monday of the coronavirus after battling for his life at the Indus Hospital in Karachi on Monday.

He contracted COVID-19 while treating patients.

Dr. Somroo was the former chief medical officer of the Pakistan Steel Mills. He is the third doctor in the country who succumbed to the virus.

Dr. Soomro was the administrator of a charity hospital, run by Al-Khidmat Foundation.
