The dollar rate slightly fell on Wednesday after a continuous rise!

On the third day of the business week, the price of the American currency decreased by 2 paisa in the interbank market, after which the US dollar closed at 286.13 PKR in the interbank market.

A day earlier the greenback closed at 287.15 rupees in the interbank.

On the other hand, in the open market, the US dollar was reported of being traded in the range of 308-310 level, as the gap widened due to foreign currency shortage.

The marginal gain comes after the rupee registered losses against the US dollar for the fifth successive session to settle at 287.15 or 0.21% down on Tuesday.
