Dr Seemin Jamali in critical condition
Dr. Seemin Jamali is reported to be in critical condition!
A day earlier fake news of former executive director of the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) death news appeared on various media however, she is said to be in critical condition after her health severely deteriorated.
Jamali had been diagnosed with colon cancer in 2020.
She is reportedly being treated in the intensive care unit (ICU) at a private hospital and doctors are making all-out efforts to “save her life”.
As reported, she has been put on a BiPAP machine after her oxygen levels dropped.
Dr. Jamali’s husband told the publication that she was admitted to the hospital after her condition worsened on Friday.
Dr. Jamali has served as the executive director for JPMC, which is one of the largest public healthcare facilities in the country, from November 2016 to August 2021.
Reacting to the false news, PTI Leader Murtaza Wahab in a tweet said, “Dr Seemi is Mashallah alive. However, she is admitted to the hospital. I would urge people not to spread unverified news & pray for her good health, please.”
