Kensington Palace, the official Twitter account of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Royal Foundation, has surprised Pakistanis. The official account has shared a tweet in Urdu after Price Williams and Kate Middleton met HH Aga Khan in London.
The statement in the tweet said, “Today The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined His Highness the Aga Khan for a special event at the Aga Khan Centre, ahead of their official visit to Pakistan later this month”, with a hashtag #RoyalVisitPkaistan.
The royal couple visited the centre for two hours ahead of Their Royal Highnesses’ official visit to Pakistan, which will take place between Monday 14 and Friday, 18 October.
The Aga Khan and Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK Nafees Zakaria welcomed the royal couple when they arrived for the visit of the centre.
