Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to visit Pakistan from October 14-18

The dates for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge official visit to Pakistan have been announced, the Royal couple will be in Pakistan from from October 14-18.

William and Kate’s visit to Pakistan was first announced in late June.

The official announcement was shared through the twitter handle Kensington Palace, saying, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will attend a special event at the Aga Khan Centre on 2nd October, hosted by His Highness The Aga Khan.

The event falls ahead of TRH’s official visit to Pakistan, which will take place between 14th – 18th October.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are going to be the first royals to travel to Pakistan in more than 13 years.

The last royals to visit Pakistan were the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall in 2006.

This is going to be Duke’s first visit to Pakistan, however, Prince William’s mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, traveled to Pakistan several times for charity work during her lifetime

Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth visited Pakistan twice, in1961 and 1997.

Further details regarding the  upcoming royal visit are being awaited.
