Dunkin Donuts factory in Karachi is sealed by Sindh Food Authority

A factory of famous food chain, Dunkin Donuts located at Karachi’s SITE Industrial area has been temporarily sealed for using substandard and expired products by the Sindh Food Authority.

A fine of Rs250,000 has been imposed after a raid that was conducted by SFA at the Dunkin Donuts factory on Monday.

Expired bunties, chocolates and sub-standard ingredients were found at the manufacturing unit, including unrefined items that had been intermixed.

The report also says that the inspection team found worst hygienic conditions at the factory with traces of rodent feces.

Reportedly, SFA Operations Director Imtiaz Abro discarded the substandard food items.
