Dunya TV announces its disassociation with Mohsin Abbas Haider

Dunya TV has announced its disassociation with the actor-singer Mohsin Abbas Haider who has been part of its famed program Mazaq Raat as a DJ.

The decision came after a domestic violence case was registered against the celebrity singer after shocking revelations by his wife Fatema Sohail.

According to the channel’s statement: “Due to domestic dispute based case being registered against Mohsin Abbas Haider, public sentiments were hurt which are being expressed by people on various platforms.

The administration of Dunya TV has announced the release of Mohsin Abbas Haider after the FIR was registered, keeping in view the sentiments of his viewers.

Unless Mohsen Abbas Haider proves his innocence, he will not be part of Dunya TV’s program Mazaq Raat.

The programs currently being broadcast were recorded prior to this unfortunate incident”.

Actor-singer Mohsin Abbas Haider has been booked under 406, 506B. The case has been registered in Police Station Defense C, Lahore, in the case of his wife Fatima.

The lawsuit imposes death threats and betrayal. According to the FIR, Mohsin Abbas took Rs 50 lakh and did not return it. Mohsin Abbas has been torturing his wife since my marriage.

Fahima Sohail, wife of Mohsin Abbas Haider, stated on 20th July on the social networking site Facebook that her husband started taking interest in another girl in November last year. They were subjected to severe violence while they were pregnant.

Mohsin Abbas presented his stand at a press conference July 22 on allegations made by his wife.

Reportedly, Police registered the FIR at 4 pm local time, on 23rd of July and started an investigation, the mobile records of the parties have been summoned.
