Eid Milad-un-Nabi 2020 to be celebrated in Pakistan on October 30

Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) will be celebrated in Pakistan on Friday, October 30, 2020.

Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, the chairman of the Ruet-i-Hilal Committee, announced that the moon of Rabi-ul-Awal has not been cited in the country.

The first Rabi-ul-Awal will fall on Monday, October 19. 

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee had met today on Saturday in Karachi to sight the moon of Rabi-ul-Awal, the third month of Islamic calendar.

Chairman of the committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman presided  over the meeting held at Meteorological Complex in Karachi after Asr prayer.

While, Zonal Committees held their meetings in major cities including Lahore, Quetta and Peshawar to collect evidence of moon sighting.
