Engro Shuts Down Karachi Office as Employee Tests Positive for Coronavirus

Engro Pakistan has shut down its Karachi office located in the Harbour Front Building after an employee tested positive for novel Coronavirus. In the latest statement issued by the company, it has been announced that offices will remain close till March 16 as the cleaning activities are carried out to disinfect the office located in what is commonly known as Dolmen Mall Clifton building.

Engro has asked its employees to work from home over the course of the next three days (till the weekend) and upon return to the office on Monday, all employees will be screened for Coronavirus.

Additionally, the company also asked its employees to self monitor themselves and if there are flu-like symptoms over the course of the next two weeks then immediately inform the medical staff of Engro.

In the latest development, Sindh has reported two new cases of Coronavirus with one in Karachi and another in Hyderabad. The countrywide tally now stands at 18.
