Ex Quetta Commissioner’s Daughter Arrested After Violent Outburst on Serene Air Flight

She refused to disembark from the plane and punched the flight attendant in the face, causing her nose to bleed and breaking one of her teeth.

The daughter of a former Quetta commissioner has been taken into custody after allegedly assaulting a flight attendant and disrupting a Serene Air flight from Quetta to Islamabad.

The former Quetta Commissioner’s daughter attacked the air hostess after being asked to close the food tray.

Saima Jogzai, daughter of ex-commissioner Iftikhar Jogezai, is accused of punching a flight attendant, causing a broken tooth and other injuries, following a dispute over safety instructions. The incident led to the flight being aborted and both Saima and her father being detained by the Airport Security Force (ASF).

As reported, on March 18, 2025, Saima Jogzai, the daughter of former Quetta Commissioner Iftikhar Jogezai, allegedly assaulted a flight attendant on a Serene Air flight from Quetta to Islamabad.

According to reports, Saima and her father, Iftikhar Ahmed Jogzai, were on Serene Air flight number 540.

During check-in, Saima Jogezai allegedly misbehaved with the airline’s counter staff and appeared intoxicated.

After boarding, she and her father allegedly insulted and verbally abused the cabin crew when they were shown to their seats.

As the aircraft prepared for takeoff, Saima stood up again, shouting profanities and threats, which caused discomfort among the other passengers.

When a female flight attendant asked Saima to fasten her seatbelt and put away her meal tray, Saima lost her temper.

She refused to disembark from the plane and punched the flight attendant in the face, causing her nose to bleed and breaking one of her teeth.

The pilot aborted the flight, and the Airport Security Force (ASF) took both the father and daughter into custody.

The Quetta Commissioner arrived at the airport and instructed the ASF to resolve the issue.

A written apology was obtained from the former commissioner and his daughter, after which they were allowed to leave without any legal action, while the injured flight attendant was sent to the hospital for treatment.
