Faisal Edhi, the head of the Edhi Foundation, has tested negative for coronavirus, according to his latest test report.
He said that this is the first test of his that has come back negative. “I had my blood samples taken at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences today, the results of which are expected within the next two days.”
While talking to media he said that he is not showing any Covid-19 symptoms, but feeling weak. He is currently in Islamabad in isolation.
Edhi said that he wished to return to Karachi but was waiting for the results of the second test.
Faisal Edhi added that he is thankful to the doctors who took care of him and people for their prayers.
“We should not be afraid of it but fight it,” he said, referring to the virus.
Faisal Edhi was diagnosed with the coronavirus on April 21, days after his meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad.
