Fakhr-e-Alam detained at Russian airport

Pakistani singer and activist Fakhr-e-Alam who is on “Mission Parwaz”, is reported to be detained at the Russian airport as he landed at Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

Actor Faysal Qureshi took to social media to spread the word on behalf of Fakhr-e-Alam.”Bro please tweet on my behalf. I am being detained at Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk airport because my visa expired 2 hours and date changed. They are forcing me to turn back to Japan. I cannot go to Japan because I had single entry visa. I appeal to Pak govt to request Russian govt to allow”, wrote Faysal Qureshi.

“me to continue my journey to Alaska. I don’t want to give up Mission Parwaaz. I need Pakistan’s support to carry on our flag to finish this.I have been in a room without food or water. No Wi-Fi. They didn’t give me my phone for 6 hours. I NEED HELP”, Faysal continued Fakhr’s message in his next tweet.

It was earlier when Fakhr-e-Alam tweeted from Japan before taking off for his next destination.
“I am truly grateful to the government of @japan for opening the Chubu airport to make #MissionParwaaz departure possible outside operating hours. I am truly honored and don’t have enough words to thank you”, he wrote in his tweet.

Fakhr-e-Alam is currently attempting to circumnavigate around the globe as part of his “Mission Parwaaz”. The 28-day tour which kicked off in Clearwater, Florida on October 10th. He will be flying around 32 countries as part of his mission.

Meanwhile further updates are being awaited, as prominent Pakistani personalities are spreading the word over the social media to reach out Pakistani government and officials to help out Fakhr-e-Alam.
