PTI suffered a major blow on Tuesday after Shireen Mazari, Fayyaz Chohan announced to quit the party over May 9 mayhem!

Fayyazul Hassan Chohan, the former provincial minister, announced his decision to part ways with Pakitan Tehreek-e-Insaaf holding a presser in Islamabad.

Former Punjab minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan strongly criticizing former prime minister Imran Khan and his party, clarified that he won’t be leaving politics.

He alleged that PTI Chairman Imran Khan trained party supporters to “move towards” military installations during a rally on May 1.

Chohan claimed that he had asked PTI Chairman Imran Khan numerous times to discard the policy of violence.

“I tried to make Imran understand that we are followers of Quaid-e-Azam and told him to stop this confrontation against the state and institutions.”

Chohan said that the PTI chief did not utter a single word of sympathy for him, despite the number of sacrifices he had given for the party.

“Someone had told Imran that I support the army a lot,” he said.

“There was no one who could make Imran Khan understand that politics should be done with patience and tolerance,” he said.

“From the entire leadership, if anyone tried to stop this, it was Fayyaz Chohan. And this is why I was sidelined in the party over the last one year,” he said.

“Imran Khan did not give time for the meeting,” Fayyaz Chohan said, adding that he was barred from entering Bani Gala and Zaman Park.
