Fazlur Rehman arrives at Gujranwala’s Jinnah Stadium

The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is holding its first rally as a show of opposition force against the PTI government.

According to the details, JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman has arrived at Jinnah Stadium of Gujranwala.

Opposition leaders Maryam Nawaz and Bilawal Bhutto welcomed Maulana Fazlur Rehman who reached shortly before him.

Earlier, in his address at Jamia Ashrafia, Maulana Fazl further said that anti-Islam forces are being promoted in the country.

He said that incompetent governments are being imposed on us. We have to think for the betterment of the country, he stated.

The anti-government alliance was given permission to hold the rally by the government with a 28-point agreement on how the jalsa would be held.

Leaders of all major opposition parties are participating in today’s public gathering.

Note that as many as 7,000 cops and officers have been deployed at the Jinnah Stadium for security reasons. The venue of the PDM’s public gathering has been decorated with flags and banners of all opposition parties.

On the other hand, police have also announced a plan to stop the caravans going to attend the rally. Reports said that more than 24 entry and exit points to the city have been cordoned off and more than 45 mobile police teams have continued their patrols across the district.
