Federal Secretary Dr. Sajid Yoosufani tests positive for COVID-19

Federal Secretary Education, Dr. Sajid Yoosufani has tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.

As being reported, the building of the Ministry of Education has been sealed by the district administration shortly after the news surfaced.

National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) will disinfect the building with spray till 5th of June, reports said.

Meanwhile, the officials of the ministry of education have been directed to work from home during the closure of building.

Earlier on Tuesday, Sindh Minister for Human Settlement Ghulam Murtaza Baloch passed away  due to the viral infection.

He tested positive last month and he was shifted to the ICU on May 23, of a private hospital in Karachi after his health started to deteriorate.
