The first case of a novel coronavirus in Quetta has been confirmed by the Medical Superintendent (MS) of Fatima Jinnah Hospital on Tuesday.
Reports have emerged that a 12-year-old boy was tested positive with the deadly virus confirming that the boy had recently traveled to Taftan with his parents.
According to the MS, the parents of the infected boy were also screened by the authorities but the viral infection was not found.
The nationwide tally rose to 19 with the news case emerged in the capital city of Balochistan.
