Former Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, Syed Munawar Hasan has been put on ventilator support after his health condition further deteriorated, the leader of JI Karachi chapter Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman confirmed late Tuesday.
Naeem, on his Twitter handle, has informed about the health condition of former JI Ameer saying that Hasan is under treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital, where, after consultation with the doctors, he was put on a ventilator.

The JI leader appealed to the nation to pray for the quick recovery of the former Ameer of Jamaat e Islami.
Hasan was shifted to hospital on June 11 after his health condition worsened as he tested positive for the COVID-19 infection.
