Former Prime Minister Pakistan Mir Zafarullah Jamali passed away on Wednesday, aged 76.
A day earlier he was put on a ventilator after suffering cardiac arrest.
MNA Mir Khan Muhammad Jamali said that the former prime minister suffered a heart attack last week, on Friday.
According to him, Mir Zafarullah Jamali was immediately shifted to a local hospital in Rawalpindi. And was undertreatment at the AFIC in Rawalpindi.
Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali served as the 15th Prime Minister of Pakistan from 2002 until his resignation in 2004.
Originally he was the supporter of the Pakistan Peoples Party and emerged from the politics of Balochistan Province under military governor Rahimuddin Khan during 1970.
