At least four people killed, several injured in a bomb blast at a madrassah located in Kuchlak area on the outskirts of Quetta.
Reportedly, a loud explosion rocked the area, which occurred during the Friday prayers. The injured were taken to the Civil Hospital Quetta, where the emergency has been declared.
According to police, the explosion was carried out through an improvised explosive device (IED) that was planted under the pulpit of the seminary.
The images of the location show that the blast caused extensive damage to the walls and ceiling of the seminary.
The area has been cordoned off by the security forces and further investigations are underway.
