Gold prices hit a new high in Pakistan on Friday.
The price of yellow metal witnessed a significant surge, with the price of one tola rising by Rs3,500 to reach a new record of Rs272,000, influenced by increases in international markets.
The price for 10 grams of gold also increased, now selling for Rs233,196 after a rise of Rs3,001, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association.
The previous day, gold prices had already climbed by Rs800, closing at Rs268,500.
In the international market, gold prices soared on Friday, hitting $2,612 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20, marking a daily increase of $35, as reported by APGJSA.

In contrast, silver prices remained stable at Rs2,950 per tola. Before this latest increase, gold prices had reached Rs268,500 per tola on Thursday.
