Gold prices have reached a historic high in Pakistan on Monday, Rs123,800 per tola, according to All Sindh Sarafa and Jewellers Association (ASSJA).
On Monday, just a week before Eid-ul-Azha the yellow metal saw an Rs5,100, increase in rate, maintaining its rally for the past couple weeks.
Meanwhile, in the international markets, gold prices shot up to $46 to $1,942, recording the highest rate since September 2011.
