The government has appointed Brigadier (retd) Shuja Hassan as the Chief Executive Officer of Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM).
A notification in this regard has also been issued on Friday.
According to the notification, Brigadier (retd) Shuja Hassan has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Pakistan Steel Mills for one year and the appointment is subject to termination by both the parties in one month’s notice.
Earlier in May 2020, the government was planning to lay off 8,000 employees of Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM), through a Rs 19 billion compensation package.
