Govt. grants three holidays on account of Eid-ul-Adha

The government has decided to grant three days holiday on the account of Eid-ul-Adha, from Tuesday, July 20 till Thursday, July 22.

The decision was taken at the federal cabinet’s meeting chaired by PM Imran Khan on Tuesday.

Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry broke the news as he spoke to the media after the meeting.

He said that the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) had initially proposed five holidays but the cabinet approved only three.

Earlier a fake notification was being circulated on social media creating confusion among the public about the official dates for the Eid holidays.

Pakistan will celebrate Eid ul Adha on July 21, 2021.
