Government has decided to keep petrol, HSD prices unchanged for next fortnight!
Making the announcement on Wednesday night, Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that the existing prices of petrol and High Speed Diesel (HSD) products are to be maintained for the next 15 days.
The finance minister said that the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel for the next 15 days from December 1st to 15th will be the same as per the prices announced last month.
In a video address, Dar said the price of high-speed diesel will also remain the same at Rs235.30 per litre.
He announced that the price of kerosene oil has been slashed by Rs10 per litre, while light diesel oil has been reduced by Rs7.50 per litre.
The decision was taken following devastation due to flooding in the country and commencement of the winter season.
The new prices will come into effect from December 1, for the next fortnight.
