Federal Minister for Industries and Production Hammad Azhar on Tuesday has announced that the government is consulting with the provinces to open up tourist spots, restaurants, and marriage halls across the country with the relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Talking it to social federal minister in a Tweet shared, “Started consultations at National Command and Operations Centre with provinces on review and possible revision of sectors (subject to SOPs) on Negative List of opening up. These include tourism, restaurants, marriage halls, parks, etc”.
“Also reviewing the timing that markets and industries are allowed to operate”, he further added.
In his next tweet, Hammad Azhar said, “We have collected the proposals and have asked provinces to finalise SOPs and enforcement methods. The proposals will now be taken to NCC headed by PM to take final decisions in this regard within a few days”.
