Govt. reduces petrol price by Rs 1.71 per-litre

The federal government has reduced the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs1.71 and Rs1.79, respectively, to be effective from November 16, 2020.

According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, a litre of petrol will now cost Rs100.69 and HSD has been reduced to Rs101.43 from Rs103.22 per litre.

However, the prices of kerosene oil and light diesel oil will remain the same without any change. Kerosene oil and light diesel oil will be available at Rs65.29 per litre and Rs62.86per litre, respectively.

The ministry has slashed prices for the first fortnight of the current month.
