Hamas Names 4 Israeli Female Soldiers Set to be Exchanged for 90 Palestinians Prisoners

Hamas has announced the names of four Israeli female soldiers who are set to be released in exchange for 90 Palestinian prisoners held by Israel as part of a hostage deal.

Hamas has confirmed the names of the four Israeli soldiers, but details regarding the specific timing and logistics of their release remain under negotiation.

Soldiers Liri Albag, Karina Ariev, Agam Berger, Danielle Gilboa and Naama Levy are going to be released by the Palestinian resistance group on Saturday, according to a short statement by Abu Obeida.

The Palestinian Detainees’ Commission has issued a statement saying that the Red Cross will begin the inspection of Palestinian hostages at the Ofer Prison at 5:00 am (0300 GMT) on Saturday, Al Jazeera reported.

This agreement involves Hamas releasing 33 hostages in exchange for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners held in Israel. The deal is part of a broader ceasefire arrangement that aims to halt ongoing hostilities between the two sides, which have persisted for over 15 months.
