Hardee’s Karachi branch sealed for violating lockdown SOPs

American food chain Hardee’s Shaheed-e-Millat branch in Karachi has been sealed by the authorities on Sunday for violating the lockdown SOPs.

As being reported by the authorities, the fast-food chain was not ensuring the implementation of coronavirus SOPs and was open after the specified hours.

The authorities slapped penalties of Rs300,000 and sealed the branch until further orders, Karachi East assistant commissioner

The lockdown was extended in Sindh on July 1 for another 15 days. The provincial government instructed people to follow the SOPs and not to leave their homes unnecessary from 7pm to 6am and wear face mask in public places.

As per the lockdown SOPs, businesses and shops are allowed to operate from 6am to 7pm. People can take away food from restaurants until 7pm while home delivery is allowed until 11pm.
