Hassan Siddiqui & Noman Ali Khan, the two PAF heroes!
We’ve always fallen in love with the depiction of Pakistan Air Force heroes on screen in films and dramas. But this time, PAF has given us two real life heroes, who daringly and heroically shot down two Indian Air Force planes that dared cross into Pakistan on the 27th of February, 2019.
Squadron Leader Hassan Siddiqui and Wing Commander Nauman Ali Khan shot down two Indian warplanes and captured an Indian pilot, Abhinandan Varthaman, who was later returned to New Delhi as a sign of goodwill and peace from Pakistan.
Squadron Leader Hassan Siddiqui was declared a hero and received a warm welcome not only at the base but also on social media and otherwise.
A video has gone viral on social media, showing PAF officials surrounding Hassan Siddiqui’s aircraft as soon as he landed after successfully engaging the Indian planes. Three years ago, squadron leader Hasan Siddiqui also featured in a video paying tribute to the bravery and professionalism of the PAF.
