“Hasta La Vista, Dhoni”, even ICC can’t let go of Dhoni’s runout in semifinal against NZ

The video tweeted by ICC with caption “Hasta La Vista, Dhoni” has taken the internet with a storm.

Taking inspiration from Hollywood’s iconic film Terminator, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has posted a video on MS Dhoni’s run-out during the World Cup 2019 semi-final, captioning it with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s landmark dialogue ‘Hasta La Vista’.

MS Dhoni was run-out on a fine throw from New Zealand’s Martin Guptill during the World Cup 2019 semi-final at Old Trafford on Wednesday. Dhoni’s dismissal proved to be a turning point and consolidated the Black Caps’ position to win the game.

The video from the ICC official twitter account has left Indian cricket fans furious, though they openly ridicule other cricketing nations on their mainstream media.
