A boat carrying migrants capsized near the Moroccan port of Dakhla.

A high-level team from Pakistan is reported to have been dispatched to Morocco to investigate a tragic boat incident that resulted in numerous fatalities.
This follows the recent capsizing of a boat carrying migrants attempting to reach Spain via Western Africa, which has reportedly left at least 50 people dead, including several Pakistani nationals.
The investigative team, consisting of four members, will include officials from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the Intelligence Bureau (IB), will conduct their investigation over the next three to four days, focusing on identifying the victims and gathering information about the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
“The teams will collect videos, photos, and other documents to ensure a thorough investigation,” the official said, adding that their findings will be presented to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
At least 86 individuals, including 66 Pakistanis, were on board when the vessel overturned off the coast of Morocco, according to preliminary reports.
The number of survivors and those still missing remains uncertain.
Authorities have pledged to intensify their efforts against human trafficking networks believed to have orchestrated the dangerous voyage. Officials emphasized that testimonies from survivors will play a crucial role in identifying those accountable.
