Power dressing – Hina Parvez Butt wear to the inflation protest

When it comes to statement fashion and style, Hina Parvez Butt, PML-L member of Punjab assembly is a known figure to flaunt her status clad in branded stuff.

And recently the ignorant politician herself invited criticism by sharing a photo on her official Twitter handle, sharing that she went to protest against inflation.

Hina Pervez’s tweet left us wondering does our status-quo cautioned political leaders really know who inflation is hurting the daily lively hood of a middle and lower-income class?

The PML-N leader went protesting wearing pearls, Manolo Blahnik heels and carried a Chanel quilted bag, only worth a couple of thousands of US dollars, and One US Dollar today is about 171.44 Pakistani Rupee.

Perhaps our well-dressed MPA’s have a better understanding of the inflation and such protests merely turn out to be fancy dresses shows.

As soon as Hina Pervez shared her photo on Twitter, it immediately started to receive a flank from netizens.

The protest felt like a mockery given the inappropriate attire and many came out hitting below the belt:

For those who didn’t know, The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) has called for a nationwide protest against the unprecedented rise in inflation and price hike.

And Hina Pervez Butt hailed her party call and joined a protest outside the Punjab Assembly on Oct 26.
