Hugh Jackman closes NYC cafe over coronavirus pandemic

"It was the right thing to do," said the actor.


Wolverine actor, Hugh Jackman has been making headlines, when he closed his New York cafe as a preventive measure following the self-quarantine practice to halt coronavirus spread.

“It was the right thing to do,” said the actor.

Economic Times reported that the 51-year-old actor said his move was “vital” for the well being of his staff and customers.

He further requested people to take necessary precautions when going out.

According to reports, the actor and his wife will be donating $1 million for feeding and Americans and Canadians via food bank.

The coronavirus pandemic has affected the livelihood of a large number of workers who work on daily wages.
