Hyderabad cylinder blast death toll rises to 12

18 to 22 injured persons with 80pc to 90pc burns were referred to Liaquat University Hospital (LUH) burns ward in Karachi.

Hyderabad cylinder blast death toll has risen to 12 on Monday, according to the officials in Karachi.

45-year-old M Akram, son of Munshi, breathed his last in the wee hours of Monday at Civil Hospital Karachi.

On Thursday, a deadly explosion in an of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) filling shop in in a densely populated locality of Paretabad, Hyderabad had left as many as 50 people injured.

Initially, two deaths and 49 injuries were reported.

Victims with serious injuries were shifted to the Civil Hospital Hyderabad, Combined Military Hospital and Civil Hospital Karachi.

As reported, 18 to 22 injured persons with 80pc to 90pc burns were referred to  Liaquat University Hospital (LUH) burns ward in Karachi.
