Hyderabad Tragedy: 4 more victims of the cylinder blast passed away in Karachi

23 injured persons with 80pc to 90pc burns were referred to Burns Ward of Karachi's Civil Hospital

4 more victims of the Hyderabad cylinder blast who were being treated in the Burns Ward of Karachi’s Civil Hospital died on Tuesday.

The death toll of the tragedy has now risen to 18.

As reported, five more patients are undergoing treatment in Burns Ward of Civil Hospital.

The hospital administration said that the condition of the patients under treatment was critical, while 23 patients were transferred to Burns Ward, and 18 out of 23 patients died during the treatment.

On May 30, a deadly explosion in a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) filling shop situated in a densely populated locality of Hyderabad’s Pretabad area, had left at least 60 people injured.

Chief Secretary Sindh Syed Asif Hyder Shah took notice of the incident and sought a report from the Commissioner Hyderabad.

Hospital sources had said that the condition of 10 people who suffered 100% burns in the blast is critical, 23 injured were referred to Karachi hospital from Civil Hospital Hyderabad.
